Long time, no new posts here. But if you’re already playing World of Warcraft, you do understand, don’t you?
Alliance guide for Burning Crusade March 24, 2007

There is a new guide in town. At least if you want an alliance guide and you want to reach level 70. This is the best Outland guide so far, it covers how to gain the instance keys as well as guides for the instances!
Check it out over at Spugnort: Spugnorts guide
The Burning Crusade – in a store near me now… January 15, 2007

I just received an email from the store where I pre-ordered The Burning Crusade. They will be open at midnight! Guess where I’ll be in less than 19 hours?
Today I’ll be stocking the fridge, clean and trim my G15 keyboard and polish my mouse. Hmm, maybe I should buy myself a new office chair too?

The Burning Crusade is near. Yeah, you have heard that before. About a year ago we were told that The Burning Crusade would be in stores by May. Maybe they never said May 2006, but I really believe most people thought they meant the same year.
May passed by in Azeroth as well as on Earth. “The Burning Crusade will be out well before Christmas” was the next message.
Oh well. I believe the wait is over very soon now.
So let’s imagine that you just got your TBC box. You installed it, picked up your favorite beverage from the fridge, logged in, and…
From here, there are a few options.
- You will go straight to the Dark Portal to baldly go where no troll has gone before (ok ok, just trying to be funny, dont throw Warcraft lore at me
- You are so curious about the new races, so you will immediately create yourself a Draenei or Blood Elf.
As for myself, I’m going to level a Blood Elf, and I’m going to do it with my Joana guide next to me. I want to reach 60 as fast as I can and even though I’ve made several 60s before, I’ve found that the guide is excellent help.
Now I just have to decide if my first Blood Elf is going to be a paladin or not…
(I hope you have already pre-ordered your copy of The Burning Crusade, otherwise you may find yourself on the wrong side of The Dark Portal for a few extra weeks.)
Buying gold for World of Warcraft? January 2, 2007

You are not buying gold for World of Warcraft, are you? I do understand that it’s tempting, especially if you are a “casual player”. You want your epic mount but you dont think you got the time to farm all that gold yourself?
The problem is, buying gold (or other items) is against the rules. Your account may be banned for good! I would cry like a baby if that happened to me, losing all my precious 60’s.
Farming for gold isnt that troublesome, if you know where to farm. My personal favorite is getting the formula for the Crusader enchant. It drops from Scarlet Enchanters at the watchtower on the road leading to Hearthglen (in Western Plaguelands). Sure, I may have to kill those for a few hours, but the formula sells for more than 300G on most servers. I’ve actually been farming those mobs while watching TV at the same time
That tower is just one place where you can farm gold for World of Warcraft, there are plenty of other spots that may give you a really good profit. I’ve been playing WoW for almost two years and I thought that I knew ALL the good spots. But recently I got my hands on the “Cash Creating Guide for World of Warcraft” and I was surprised how many “secrets” it contained.
I would strongly recommend that you get this guide instead of buying gold. You will discover that gold farming can be quite fun, when you know where to go!

The Joana guide for horde players has been available for awhile, but what if you wanna be an ally? For a long time you would have been out of luck finding a good alliance power leveling guide, but not anymore.
Brian Kopp has made an alliance guide, and it’s almost as good as the Joana guide. If you’re going to level up an alliance character, get this guide first: www.briankopp.com

(Updated for The Burning Crusade)
A lot of WoW players have already heard about Joana / Mancow, but if you havent yet heard of him, I can tell you that he is probably the fastest powerleveler around, going from level 1 to 60 in amazing 4 days, 20 hours /played! Impossible, you say?
Well, I thought so too. But I became more and more curious, and finally, I just had to get it to see for myself. I have to say that I really wish that I have had this guide when I started my first horde character. Not that I was in a hurry to level up, but this guide would have saved me lots of wasted time online.
You probably seen the “horde power leveling guides” that tells you do stay in a certain spot and kill a zillion mobs of a certain type until you reach the next level. Joanas guide is NOT a grinding guide. It’s all about questing! It tells you where to pickup the quest, where to do it and where to turn it in when you’re done. This means that you are still learning how to play your class, you are having fun doing the quests while the guide is just what it’s meant to be, a guide! It’s not cheating, simply a big help.
If you really want the details, every quest is linked to Allakhazam / Thottbot, so the help to find a quest item is just a few clicks away. For some quests, there are videos showing you exactly how Joana did it.
If you intend to create a Horde character, get this guide first. You’ll find it over at www.joanasworld.com . (and if you wanna go alliance, check this)
